Six interactive stories engage students in learning by letting them choose the actions of the characters and then view the consequences of their choice. Two stories concentrate on communication skills between partners. A third story looks at manipulative behaviors as a young woman addresses her boyfriend pressuring her into having sex before she is ready. The fourth story shows a young woman being flattered by the attentions of an older guy, but later discovering he is unwilling to take “no” for an answer. A fifth story involves three boys talking as they work on a car. While Brian brags about his sexual conquest the previous night, his friend, Gordon realizes that Amy was effectively raped and must decide whether or not to confront Brian about it. The last story is Amy’s and demonstrates how her friends grapple with the best way to support her.
In all six of the stories, viewers hear the thoughts of the characters and at key choice points are given the option to make a decision that will affect the story. Wise choices result in positive outcomes; unwise choices result in negative consequences.
