Contraception alone is not enough. Individuals who are sexually active must also learn preventive strategies in order to stay healthy. Whether viewers are seeking information for themselves or are parents worried about their teenagers, this program offers sound information about the various types of infections, how they are transmitted, and what can be done for reliable protection. Viewers learn about the proper use of condoms, common risk factors (e.g., multiple partners), and the importance of early testing and treatment. Topics of printable articles include talking with teens or talking with children about HIV/AIDs. In addition, a section shows where to find help locally.
